Spirit Lake Lodge is great. I love how rustic the cabins are. The staff are all wonderful, and the lake itself is stunning. The hikes vary from super short and easy, to a full day of decently challenging, so what ever you're feeling up to is available.

Stayed overnight on the first day it was opened. very friendly staff. property just changed hand. so they could not give us much information about the surrounding area.
Have to say, that our visit was the most relaxing, and enjoyable weekend ever. Maddy was a great host, took us along for a hike, that very interacting and patient with us and our Lab puppy. Will definitely be back! Thank you so much for this experience!
$120 a night was too expensive, even though kids enjoyed.
Went there on June 9, 2013. The place could have changed since.
trails all very wet impossible to hike around the lake. no electricity. so take your stove. enough wood for heating. quite clean. but all in all very primitive. only shared toilet far away...
This is a hidden secret at 10,200 feet. It is like stepping back in time. The cabins and the lodge are from the 30's. It was great to get away and truly unplug from the modern world. It is truly a camping experience without all of the trouble of setting up a camp. The air is clean and the views are amazing, beautiful hiking. I can not wait to return
