Ever since this terrible experience, I have stayed in the Villa Inn in Manila. The owner is pleasant, the rooms are basic but very clean and they do an amazing job of cleaning them throughout your stay. The Villa Inn is very reasonable. The rooms at R-Hideout are nicer, but I'll take a pleasant owner with good customer service and clean rooms (that get cleaned daily!) over R-Hideout 10 out of 10 times.

Items in the room such as TV's, artwork, microwave, coffee maker, etc. are marked, "You will be charged $___ (fill in the blank) if you steal this!". There was a sign that we would be charged $100 if we stole the DVD Player, yet we had no DVD Player but had brought movies because their web site says they have DVD Players. I called Elaine and annoyed her yet again to ask about the DVD Player & she said they've all been stolen. Seriously? Is this woman for real? I have a hard time believing that people have stolen her DVD Players. Which then worried me because in the contract I signed it had listed I would be charged if the DVD Player (and every other item in the room) was missing. Hmmmm.

The next day we arrived back to our room to find things had been moved around. Disturbing. We had left a cooler on the kitchen counter and it had been placed on the floor (but nothing had been cleaned). I had left an open can of soda in the refrigerator and it had been emptied and the can thrown in the garbage. We had moved the toaster onto the kitchen table to make it more accessible while eating breakfast and it had been moved back. My daughter had left a backpack open on the dresser and it had been zipped up and moved to the floor.

Nice 2 room cabins with everything you need. They thought of everything. The rooms are very nice and very clean. The owners are like family, they're so friendly you feel like you've known them forever. Lots of benches outside for relaxing. Very comfortable. I highly recommend this place!

After the 20 - 30 minute check in process, we got settled into our room. We then realized we didn't know the password to log into the internet. Called Elaine and had to listen to her complain & moan about "Quit bugging me!".

The room was nice, thus the 1 out of 5 rating (plus there isn't a 0 star rating). The service...TERRIBLE! Had to call the owner (Elaine) when we arrived to get checked in. After 15 minutes of waiting, she arrived and complained that she was right in the middle of something and if we had come at the time we had guesstimated (1 hour later) we wouldn't have interrupted her.

I have seriously spent less time signing documents to purchase a home than I did checking into R-Hideout Inn! The contract is ridiculous! You're agreeing to basically give all your assets if the room isn't perfect upon check out.

Owner is too difficult. I would sleep in my car before I would stay at R-Hideout Inn again.

The people running this establishment are very rude! First off I reserved a sweet 2 weeks in advance for my girlfriend and I. When we got there all she had was a small room with two double beds. Later we found out that sweets were available but she was to busy to make the change. The rooms were clean and nice though but like I said manners and the way they treat people could improve

Very nice facility. Absolutely clean and entire operation kept in meticulous repair. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Not a lot to do in the town. Very quiet and relaxing.

When arriving back to the room late in the day after our first night at R-Hideout, the beds hadn't been made and the trash hadn't been taken out. I called Elaine and was advised that they don't make up the rooms because, "You think I have time for that?" She said to take our garbage out ourselves and there are extra garbage bags in the trash basket ($50 if stolen).

Had a reservation which we had to cancel. Brent worked with us on that in a very fair manner, which was much appreciated.
